Mentoring:
Approach
The G4h approach to mentoring is based around an initial ‘Needs Analysis’ then selecting the required mentoring areas from a menu (see below). A plan is then constructed of one-to-one sessions with on-going telephone support around the selected mentoring areas.
Format
One-to-one sessions – these would normally be a half day session covering 2 to 3 mentoring areas. If possible they should be face-to-face. They start with a discussion of the needs and challenges faced by the business around the particular mentoring area, followed by training and coaching which results in an on-going personal development plan and an immediate action plan for the business.
Telephone Support – this would normally be used as required upto about one day month where support could be obtain over the telephone to review ideas and plans, coach on specific problems and support the mentoring areas.
Hands-on Support – this is used as required to work along side the candidate on particular projects or plans.

Marketing
Management and Leadership, Value Proposition and Messaging, Market Sizing / Assessment and Validation (including Test Marketing), Competitor Analysis and Tactics, Obtaining and Managing Market Feedback, Sales and Marketing Strategy, Tactical Marketing Plans, Planning and Managing Events, Producing Collateral / Website (content / look and feel / visibility), Dealing with PR and Advertising (including the Internet and Analysts), Public Speaking (including Content Generation), Lead Generation (including Telesales and TOUCH), Hiring / Firing and Staff Evaluation, Staff Training and Development Plans, Budget Management.
